2010

R4S is born

We – Raimon Puigjaner, Pablo Sánchez and Pep Tarifa – found Roots for Sustainability (R4S) in late 2010. Our motivation is to offer sustainable solutions to the challenges of the global economy while fostering social development.

2011/13

From Washington, D.C. and Barcelona to the world

Starting out in Washington, D.C., we launch our first international inclusive recycling project as a sustainable business model in Chile and Brazil, while running equivalent activities in the city of Barcelona.

2014/15

Leaders in the change revolution

We bring the B Corp^TM movement to Spain and become the country partner of B Lab® Europe. We also end 2015 leading the way within the B Corp^TM collective, coming among the B Lab® 2015 Best for the World Overall Honorees.

2016/23

Our story continues

We specialise in developing positive impact corporate strategies intended to improve organisations’ competitiveness; we consolidate the fostering of inclusive business in multiple Latin American and African countries; and we expand the activity of the R4S Group with new positive impact business models. We remain at the forefront of the B Corp^TM movement, coming among the B Lab® Best for the World Honorees six more times. What’s more, in late 2019, we establish the B Lab® Spain Foundation.
